Privacy Policy
Zaasmi (“we,” “us,” “our”) is operated by Asad Ahmad. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Zaasmi website and desktop application, and how we use it.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name and email address to create and manage your account.
Usage data: We track your subscription plan and remaining audio-hours so we can enforce your plan’s limits and show you accurate usage in your account dashboard.
Payment information: Payments are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. We do not collect or store your card details — Lemon Squeezy handles that directly under its own privacy policy.
Support and contact requests: If you contact us through the website’s contact form or chatbot, we collect the name, email, and message you provide so we can respond.
Call audio (real-time only): During a call, Zaasmi transcribes your speech to text locally on your device — the audio itself never leaves your machine. Only the transcribed text is sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) in real time to generate talking points on your screen. We do not record, store, or retain your call audio or transcripts. Once a talking point is generated and shown to you, the text is discarded — nothing from your call is saved by Zaasmi.
Call summary: When a call ends, Zaasmi generates a summary of the conversation and shows it to you. This summary is not stored by us — it exists only for you to view at the end of the call, and is not retained on our servers.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Provide and operate the Zaasmi app and website
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Respond to support requests
- Maintain and improve the service
3. Third-Party Services We Use
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider (self-hosted on our own server in Germany)
- Google Gemini — processes the transcribed text (not audio) in real time to generate talking points
- Lemon Squeezy — processes payments and subscriptions
- Zoho Mail — sends account, support, and transactional emails
Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing how they handle data on our behalf.
4. Data Retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we will delete your account data within a reasonable time, except where we’re required to keep certain records (e.g., for tax or legal reasons).
5. Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing hello@zaasmi.com.
6. Cookies & Analytics
Our website may use basic cookies for functionality and to understand site usage. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive here — so we can improve it. This data is collected in aggregate and your IP address is anonymized, so we cannot identify you personally from it. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.
7. Children’s Privacy
Zaasmi is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Zaasmi grows. We’ll post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
